Windows is the basic operating system on PC type computers. Once you have a firm grasp of the way it works, you'll be able to use a wide variety of software.

Microsoft Word (beginners)
The Microsoft Word Beginners course is for those who want hands-on experience of creating documents. You will learn how to create, edit, design and print letters, reports and documents. The shortcut buttons will be explained as well as the toolbars, menus and commands displayed on the Word screen.
Who is it for?
New users of Microsoft Word who want to create professional looking documents.
Assumed knowledge: Basic Windows knowledge is required, from previous experience or from attending the Microsoft Windows (basic) course.
Microsoft Excel (beginners)
This course is for those who want to create and update spreadsheets with Excel. Excel spreadsheets are used to create financial documents like cashflow forecasts, profit and loss accounts and bookkeeping systems. The course covers the basics of spreadsheet design and how to work with cells, calculations and formulas.
Who is it for?
Basic Windows knowledge is required, from previous experience or from attending the Microsoft Windows (basic) course.
